Vintage Design
An old version of the #2278 with green painted interior shade. The brass has oxidised very nicely over the years. A heavy and stately table lamp with very well-chosen proportions and interesting details, such as the textured and curved glass that serves as a reflector of the greenish light that comes out of the 5 candelabra sockets. Also, the small open ridge that shows greenish because of the paint but also because of the light that comes through. A phenomenal find that creates just the bit extra that you may expect from a Max Ingrand lamp. We are a huge fan of his work and we always try to have some pieces from his hand in our gallery. All in working and original condition. No damages on the glass or lamp. Original push-switch on base. Published: Fontana Arte 6, manufacturer’s catalog.
