An elegant bentwood settee designed by Marcel Kammerer and manufactured by Thonet, Austria, circa 1910. The sofa is made of dark stained beech wood in a dark tone and upholstered in a classic beige with dark grey patterned fabric. The straight backrest flows horizontally into the armrests, which curvaceously turn to the front legs.
The bentwood bench shows a wonderful patina. The upholstery shows signs of age and use, with some fading and small scuffs. Therefore, we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
