The Sturm Company:
Founded in Vienna in 1883 by Alexander Sturm, born in Vienna in 1851. His clientele was primarily members of the emerging middle class of the late 19th century, such as Mautner Markhof, Kattus, Wittgenstein, Meinl, Manner, Piatnik, etc. Later also members of the imperial family are Storm’s customers (Archduke Eugen, Archduke Franz Salvator or Archduke Leopold Salvator).At the beginning of the 20th century, the company employed a hundred people.
