A stunning Austrian Art Nouveau pottery wall plaque with tubelined floral designs dating from the latter 19th century. The heavily potted plaque is beautifully decorated with a flowering shrub with three stems, two with buds and one with an open flower. This is painted in bright majolica style glazes in rich purple and green glazes on a deep mustard yellow ground with very fine low relief scroll patterning The plaque has a green glazed base and is numbered 516 with two hanging holes to the foot rim.
There are two glaze chips to the rim which have been overpainted. Otherwise is very fine condition.
