A small square sized table designed and made by Carl Auböck II, Vienna, Austria, circa 1950.
The table’s frame is made from slender steel bar which has been lacquered in black. The table top is constructed entirely from tightly woven wicker.
The simplicity of the materials used and their proportions result in a charmingly sweet design that is also very practical.
In superb original vintage condition. The table remains very strong and the wicker has a interestingly varied patina.
