Vintage Design
At the time, many European companies produced lighting designs in the new Italian style of Arredoluce and Stilnovo. Hala Zeist was a Dutch modernist lighting company that was leader on the market together with Anvia and Raak.
Very attractive light in a magnificent optimistic fifties color combination red- yellow-grey- black and white. Characteristic die-cut starr pattern in the shades.
The five smaller shades can be directed in a variety of directions, which makes this a perfect lamp for diffused ceiling light. It also double as a reading or working light if desired!
The light is almost entirely made of aluminium, so quite light weight lamp, easy mounting to the ceiling.
The light is in excellent dent and scratch free restored condition; wiring replaced through the whole fixture, all suitable for normal modern E 27 LED bulbs. So ready for instant use! The fifties colors make a great match in a ( pine or teak ) wood related ( Danish ) midcentury interior. Very decorative centrepiece.
