Fabulous 1905’s industrial style floor lamp. Made by Wilmot Castle of Rochester, New York, this Model 304 Type 8 medical exam light has a 13-inch silver reflector shade with blue explosion proof glass cylinder bulb cover. Single bulb socket, type A base. This classic “Model 8” has a silver finish and chrome accents, and sits on an elaborate base with steel hairpin braces bolted to a x-frame with rolling caster wheels. The curved metal arm measures 18 inches and has a spring-action hinge that stays where you want it, and there’s a screw to adjust the tension. The lamp stands approximately 82 inches at highest position, and the base is 29.5 inches at widest point. The arm adjusts all the way down from an almost vertical position to below the hinge box. It also adjusts from side to side, and you can position the reflector shade in absolutely any way you want.
