It shows the spire of the historic Copenhagen Stock Exchange building (Copenhagen, Denmark, 1625-destroyed by fire 2024) in the background. MAKER

He was known for his portraits and landscapes and his work is represented in the National Museum and Gothenburg Museum of Art.
