Story has it that this exact pair of Vintage French Art Verrier Crystal Lamps came from Zsa Zsa Gabor’s legendary home in Bel Air. The woman I sourced them from said her husband was friends with Zsa Zsa’s husband, and he gave some medical advice back then. Zsa Zsa was getting rid of some items at the time and this woman & her husband were able to keep the lamps. No formal paperwork of this acquisition as it was just a gift amongst friends but you can feel the opulence of Zsa Zsa in this pair. Lamps with a story.

The organic freeform design give off an Art Nouveau allure. Yet the brass elements add an Art Deco / Hollywood Regency touch. Talk about redefining “Hollywood Regency” when the actual item was in the home of Hollywood Royalty. Each shade is unique. Made of solid French crystal, these are the heaviest shade and base combos I have ever come across. Perched on an oriental style brass base that serves as a pedestal to this work of art. Large wing span on the shades, so make sure there’s plenty of room to put them on display. A sculptural piece at its finest. Elegance with a story for any room of the house.

The original “Paris Art Verrier” & “Made in France” stickers are still on one of the lamps.

These are in good vintage shape. There is one fluted lamp cap missing from the top of one lamp. See photos for top comparison. Due to the low profile of the cap, this doesn’t stand out, but worth noting. On one of the bases there is splitting on the interior finish beneath the lamp shaft where the electrical wiring exits the base. See photos for details. Visible only because the lamp shaft is clear, but the thick crystal does distort view of this flaw. It does not appear to affect the structure of the lamp as the underneath area is still solid. I have close up photos of both bases for comparison. There is some age and wear on the brass.

This is a vintage piece so there will be wear and signs of age. I do my very best to capture these in the photos. Please review all photos extensively, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
