A rare miniature Greek Ottoman Period (1453-1821) hand painted icon triptych. The diminutive hand carved wooden case affixed with a pair of conforming hinged panels, opening to reveal an arched niche centred by hand painted images executed in pigmented tempura & gold leaf, depicting Saint Constantine (Konstantinos) & Saint Helen (Eleni) flanking the True Cross.
The interior surface of the hinged panels depicting hand painted images of what appear to be those of St. Haralambos & St. Peter.
