Antique American Hard Sided Leather Case

Nice quality early 1900’s American antique leather hard sided case. It Is handcrafted, made by Reid, Ponca City, OK, embossed on the front closing flap as shown. It is all leather, made of bridle or saddle leather. It is a beautiful old, well loved case / bag. It was most likely custom made for a client. It is similar to pannier bags that were used on pack animals to transport goods. It’s a great size and useful to store maps, papers or magazines. It has wonderful character, original patina and a lovely cognac color.
