Antique Holophane Wall Light – A. An early wall light by Holophane. The metalwork has been polished back revealing a lovely copper gallery and brass wall bracket. The wall bracket has the makers mark ‘Holophane’ stamped on it. The glass shade left in untouched original condition is a classic stiletto Holophane model stamped with the makers mark on the neck. The Wall bracket can be adjusted up and down and could equally be used as a ceiling fitting, especially an angled one. Dimensions: Height: 27cm Shade diameter: 18cm Depth from wall: 18cm Origin: UK. Circa: 1920s Workshop Report: Overall good. The Light has been rewired with CE Certified B22 (bayonet) bulb holder and 1m of twisted brown vintage style flex. As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
