A striking and exceptional Eichwald secessionist Art Nouveau pedestal centerpiece Majolica pottery bowl dating from the early 20th century. The shallow rounded bowl shaped top stands mounted on a pedestal base supported on six feet with a domed rounded base and central column support with three further supporting struts around the edge. The base is decorated with molded designs with further patterning to the column and struts. The bowl is decorated with embossed ribbons supporting hanging designs with small molded window designs. The bowl is decorated in tones of pink, brown and green on a contrasting grey ground and has impressed Eichwald mark to the base along with number 4526 along with further painted numbers.
