By one hand movement the ‘Constanze’ changes from a sofa to a daybed. Johannes Spalt designed this convertible daybed in 1961 but the offered piece probably was manufactured in late 1960s or early 1970s.
The ‘Constanze’ is a beautiful design obect in a very high quality technique which can be positioned freely in a room because of the upholstered backside. The overall condition is good with minor wear on the velvet. The sofa was probably reupholstered recently.
