Large Lugano Floor Lamp by H. Klingele for Artimeta, 1950s

Rare ‘Lugano’ floor lamp designed by H. Klingele for Artimeta Soest, Netherlands. The lamp features a minimalist black lacquered metal frame with a decorative tripod base. The shade is made of sprayed fiberglass which was revolutionary at that time. Lamps by Achille Castiglioni are made with this same technique.
