Vintage Design
Nils Kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family Kähler. He and his brother Herman Jørgen Kähler, who were in charge of Kähler´s ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the mid-century period.
The lamp foot has an incised zigzag pattern and the glossy glaze is turquoise-blue. A broad band at the top is left smooth and without glazing.
Included is a new lampshade designed in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and natural white color. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
Incised with the initials HAK for Herman A. Kähler + Danmark + Niels for Niels Kähler
