This outstanding fruit bowl was made in Yugoslavia in 1970s, by Jugokeramika, the largest and most prominent ceramic factory in the region. The fruit bowl is done in modernist style and it features a print or illustration that was inspired by the works of Picasso and in his honor, as he used to be an often visitor of Josip Broz Tito, the president of Yugoslavia and on his visits, he use to paint, often for various art projects, such as movies and theater, making it entirely possible that this was yet another of his collaborations with the local producers.
Fruit bowl in excellent vintage condition. No dents. Manufacturer’s seal visible on the bottom of the bowl, as seen in the last picture.
When purchased, fruit bowl will be carefully wrapped up in multiple layers of bubble wrap and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped, you will receive the tracking number for your package.
