Amazing extra large and highly comfortable Austrian Midcentury Lounge Chair designed by one of the the most important Austrian Post War Architects Oswald Haerdtl, who studied and worked together with Josef Hoffmann.
The Chair features a Wooden Frame with Walnut Legs, completely restored and upholstered with a new grey KVADRAT fabric. Though it has monumental dimensons its shape and proportions are very elegant and light and it is highly comfortable to sit.
It´s provenance is directly from a Viennese Villa, Villa Pertl, which was designed by Haerdtl in 1957. So this fantastic Armchair is a rare and important piece of Austrian Postwar Design History.
