Vintage Design
This beautiful lamp designed by Tommaso Barbi in Italy will not leave anyone indifferent.
Here the love affair is not at first sight and that is a good sign. This is often what happens with timeless objects. Indeed, you will not get tired of this lamp.
Finely studied lines, a metal lampshade that just poses on its support and perfectly matched colors.
From Bordeaux, a white cream and the gold color of brass go perfectly.
Of very good quality, it is therefore made up of metal, bakelite and brass. It has been revised and works perfectly.
Tommaso Barbi was a very active designer in the 60s and 70s and is very well known for his leaf lamp. Very close to the Hollywood Regency style, he used brass a lot but also Murano glass or marble in his creations.
There will be a few a small hooks on the lampshade and a slight oxidation to the brass.
Small faults that go unnoticed once the lamp is on.
