A very fine and stylish Austrian attributed, possibly Wiener Werkstatte, art pottery figure of semi naked dancer in the manner of Paul Gauguin. The figure is heavily and solidly potted in terracotta clay and depicts the dancer wearing a long veil around her head flowing down her side and supported in her right hand and wears a long skirt down to her feet with painted and overglazed features with streaked blue and green glazes. Her upper body is naked. The figure is unglazed to the base with incised number 7374.
