Oak Drapery Work Table, 1890s

Old small work table style draper’s table or draper’s table in oak from the 1900s.
we love its format with its very comfortable depth, which originally allowed people to work easily while looking at it.
the turned legs give it its 1900 authenticity. The drawers are topped with ornate cast iron shell handles. The top was sanded, treated, stained then protected with a matte varnish.
the base has retained its unique original patina.
very good general condition.
the inside of the drawers has marks in some places.
